Go to sellercentral.amazon.in and click "Sign Up". You can use an existing Amazon buyer account or create a new one with a business email ID.
Enter your legal business name, mobile number (for OTP), email address, and set a password. You will also select your business type — Individual (proprietorship), Privately Owned Business, or Publicly Owned Business.
Enter your PAN card number and GSTIN. Amazon verifies PAN against government records in real-time. GSTIN is mandatory for selling taxable goods on Amazon India. Attach your GST certificate.
Enter your bank account number and IFSC code. Amazon performs a penny drop verification — they transfer Re 1 and check if the account is active and matches your PAN. Current account preferred for faster verification.
